Ok, you guys ask a lot of questions, so I figured I'd make an FAQ. I know it's long, but bear with me here. I get a lot of comments asking the same things. =.=;;

About My Art

What program(s) do you use?
Mostly Flash Professional 8. I also use Fireworks Professional 8, Manga Studio Ex 4.0, and SAI.

How much did Flash/Fireworks/Manga Studio/SAI cost?
Flash- $600
Fireworks- $300
Package (includes Flash, Fireworks, & Dreamweaver)- $1000
BUT, if you use a college student discount (uscollegebuy.com), you can get the package deal for $214.

Where did you get Flash/Fireworks/Manga Studio/SAI?
The internet, of course!

Can you teach me how to use Flash? (or) I just got Flash and I’m lost. Can you give me some tips?
No. Besides the fact that I’m very busy, it’s just not possible to give someone lessons on such a complex program over the internet. When it comes to animating, everything I know I taught myself. Do you use a tablet?
Yes.

Where did you get it/how much did it cost?
It's Wacom, and it costs $150 dollars for a small tablet, and $300 for a large one. (Mine is the large one xD)

When did you start drawing in manga-style?
About five years ago.

Who taught you how to draw?
=Maverick-Hunter-Kat lent me a How to Draw Manga book, and from there on I was self-taught.

Can you teach me?
No. Sorry, I don’t have the time.

Can you put up a tutorial?
No. Unless I spontaneously decide to make one, tutorials probably won’t happen.

Can I color one of your pictures?
Most of the time I will say yes to this. ^.^ I would appreciate it if you sent me a note when you’re finished~ (Also, when it comes to coloring pics, it would be nice if you could provide a link to the original. Usually, I don’t have to ask, but just in case...)

Are you open for requests?
I don’t usually take requests unless it’s for a friend. Even then, proceed with caution. I’m notorious for procrastinating/forgetting about it completely. **shot**

What about commissions?
Sorry, but no.

Can I use your art/flash for YouTube?
I’d really rather you didn’t. Please note me concerning the usage of my art on sites such as this. And I don’t appreciate it at all when people go ahead and use it in their video, then inform me that they want to use it. >:C

Do you speak Japanese?
I am partially fluent. I read and write it better than I can speak it.

Can you translate this for me?
If I have the time, I can try. I’m telling you now, though, that it takes hours for me to translate stuff sometimes. Have some courtesy and keep this in mind before asking me.

Why do you hate emos/Twilight/yaoi/yuri/hentai/Mary Sues/wapanese/etc?
Because there are many things in this world that are just asking to be hated. I form my own opinions based on what I think. And no matter how many times you spam me about what you think, nothing you say can make me like the things I hate (on the contrary, I will only hate them more). If you don’t like it, don’t associate with me. It’s as simple as that.

About My Characters

Where are your characters from?
A novel series that I’m writing that may or may not be published some day.

Hey, your character looks like so-and-so!
Whether you have good intentions or not saying this, please stop. It kills me inside when I hear this. I created each and every one of my characters when I was ELEVEN. That was years before I got into manga/anime.

Can I draw one of your characters?
Go for it. I’d love to see it when it’s done. (Just be sure to give credit where credit’s due, please.) But please keep in mind that I really don’t want to see any yaoi pairings or guy characters wearing girl’s clothes. Believe it or not, that kind of thing is really upsetting to me.

Can I cosplay as one of your characters? (No, I'm not being egotistical, people really ask me this. xD)
I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. You don't even need to ask me this; just send me a note with the photographs. XD

How did you come up with their names?
Please keep in mind that their food-based names are just nicknames. xD;; As far as their real names go (such as Demens and Søt), I use a lot of multi-cultural influences when it comes to my characters. Are you ever going to post the actual story on dA?
Sorry, but no. I’d love to have other people’s opinions on it, but I’m trying to protect my copyright as best as I can. Also, I’m constantly rewriting it, so the version you get today could be completely different from the one I’ll write two months from now.

"Parasite"? WTF?
Yeah, I don’t blame you if the whole parasite-host thing doesn’t make sense to you. Basically he lives inside the minds of other people, generally causing havoc for them, screwing up their lives in every way possible, sapping their energy, and keeping them from sleeping properly.
If the host decides to, they can “release” him from their mind (which leaves the host unconscious). In Corrupted Core OCT, Søt uses this to protect herself. In the canon story, it just causes a lot of problems for Pepper and never helps him with anything.

What’s under his bandages/why does he wear them?
Sorry, but that’s spoiling a bit too much of the story. ;D Let’s just say it’s not a pretty sight, and he does wear those bandages for a reason.

Shin

Shin is my “manself” character and has somehow become more popular than me. XD **shot**
