CRAP, I FORGOT TO MENTION: READ RIGHT-TO-LEFT, PLEASE

"...And somewhat more dangerous things, like putting a gun in your mouth. But you put it there, you taste it, it's cold and greasy, your finger is on the trigger, and you find that a whole world lies between this moment and the moment you've been planning, when you'll pull the trigger. That world defeats you. You put the gun back in the drawer. You'll have to find another way."

~Girl, Interrupted

--

Another one inspired by this book. :\ I could picture this scene so clearly in my mind that I just had to draw it.

I'm always harping on about how much I hate emos and people who act depressed/suicidal for attention, but I really and honestly feel bad for people who are depressed/suicidal for a legitimate reason.

And yet, even though I don't support suicide (except as a last, last, LAST-ditch choice for the horribly suffering), I still feel a sort of respect for people who commit it.

Ideologically, it's braver to put the gun down and face life and all it's misery.
But to me, it's braver to pull the trigger. Because the thought of injury terrifies me to the extent that I could never do it myself.

So anyways, controversial topic. Don't commit suicide; it's not the answer. I don't endorse it. Disclaimer. Etc.

Used Yaki because he was suicidal at one point. In the present story, he's quite cheerful, though. He's one of those who found a better way.

Character (c) To ME

Drawn in ballpoint pen & sharpie. Because I felt like sucking today.

How long did this take you?

I completely agree on your point of view on suicide, I do believe killing yourself is not the way to go either, but to find another way to cope with whatever you're going through is the better answer.

I believe in God and his son, Jesus Christ, my Savior. If you do too and aren't afraid to admit it, then copy and paste this into your signature.

Wow, this style differs quite a lot from your carefree funny comics. As much as I love those, this is a very refreshing style and theme ^^ Please continue to crank them out Italuv! *shot for saying 'crank them out'*

ooo~ O3O shading! i think its intresting....very deep!.....plus i like the idea of a suicidal yaki for some reason! XD
:iconitaluv:
A couple of hours, maybe more ^_^

Yeah, that's generally my view, although I definitely think there are exceptions. Like if someone's got a horrible, incurable disease, I think they have the right to end it quickly instead of suffering.

It's shocking, right? I actually know how to shade! 8D **shot** Thanks; I tried. :D
lol, Yaki is like, every single emotion under the sun at at least some point in the story. He's comprised of extremes. XDDD
