When I read in my history textbook that my three favorite Hetalian countries: Russia, America, and England once met in Teheran (the capital of Iran/Persia), I was like, "COMIC. NAOW."

Explanations for Non-Persians xD;;-

Comic 1- People tend to get the Iranian flag [link] confused with the Mexican flag [link] . Really, they're not that similar except for the colors...

Comic 2- In Iran there is a practice called "tarof", where a giver/receiver of something go back and forth insisting/refusing the giving of the gift. You're expected to refuse several times. It's kind of a tedious tradition, to be honest...

Comic 3- Iranians can come off as stiff to people that don't know them. Around friends and family, they're very teasing and joking (and sometimes mean about other people...). xD

Also, before I forget, =Maverick-Hunter-Kat came up with America's line in the last panel. XD
