IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you plan on using this, you must ALSO cut out a strip of cloth 2.5 inches wide for the band of the hat (obviously the length would be maybe 1 or 2 inches longer than the circumference of your head).

HOW TO USE:
1. (After cutting out) First sew the fronts and backs of the hat. Align the "straight" edges of two of the triangular(ish) pieces and sew them together. Repeat for the other two pieces.
2. Then sew the eyes/ears (depends on the animal you're using). Take two of the semi-circular(ish) pieces and sew around the CURVED EDGE ONLY. Turn it inside-out. Repeat for the remaining two pieces.
3. Now you're going to sew the front and back together. This is kind of tricky to explain, so I've also drawn it (rather poorly) on the bottom of the pattern. Lay down the back of the hat on a table with the seam face-down. Then take the eyes and line them up with the top of the hat upside down, face-up. Then lay the front with the seam face-up on top of the eyes. Sew along the curved edge.
4. Lastly, double-up the band and sew it along the bottom of the hat.

I suppose if you wanted to, you could change the ear shapes to make other animals. P: But everyone knows pandas and frogs are THE BEST. **shot**
